Overall Vision Originality Technique
ImpactI saw this photograph and as soon as you became a member of our group I wanted to critique some of your work. I think that most of your work is FANTASTIC, however this one is one of the weaker ones. I just think that the picture is slightly dark and flat, the light is also flat and lacks contrast. I like the composition, the bokeh and the sharpness that you have caught here. I like the idea behind the photo, however it is not very original, as there are hundreds of pictures of flowers. Also the dots (which you can tell that they were added in Photoshop <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title=" (Smile)"/>) are slightly distracting and don't look natural at all.Try brightening it up a little bit, adding slightly more contrast, removing the dots and next time try a more dynamic, fresh angle or perspective.
The image is really good overall, and it would look really nice on a print. I just think that some parts could be improved.
